MyGolfSpy Staff Wish List (2025)

As kids, the one question that grown-ups asked the most wasn’t “What do you want to be when you grow up?” It was “What do you want for Christmas?”

Despite how “old” I’m starting to feel at 28 years (look, I remember the world before smartphones), I still consider myself a big kid and still have an almost endless Christmas list. While the list is now mostly golf stuff, that’s OK because those are toys for grown-ups.

I knew I couldn’t be the only one so I polled the MyGolfSpy staff to see what’s on their lists and there’s some good stuff on there.

Without further ado, here’s the MyGolfSpy staff’s 2025 wish list.

This was a resounding favorite among MGS staff and it’s easy to see why. The Pinned Golf Caddie GPS Tablet is a full-size golf GPS tablet built to replace bulky cart screens or phone-based apps. Its large eight-inch HD display makes yardages, hazards and hole layouts easy to read from the seat or the bag. It ships preloaded with more than 45,000 courses and requires no subscription for updates. A built-in magnet lets you attach it to a cart and the weather-resistant housing means it’s ready for rain or shine. While it wasn’t on my personal list before asking around, I want one now.

Back in the day, Johnny Gill had a hit song “My, My, My” and that is what this bag has MGS staffers saying. The Maxfli Modern Classic Stand Bag brings a clean, traditional look with modern functionality. This bag strikes that balance between vintage style without cosplaying. At just under $300, this bag costs significantly less than its competition in the premium bag space. For looks, performance and value, I see why staffers want this one.

The BirdieBall Indoor RollTech™ Green landed on the MGS staff wishlist for a simple reason: everyone wants a reliable way to keep their putting sharp at home. The 4′×10′ size gives you enough room to work on pace and start-line without taking over an entire room and the surface has the true-rolling feel BirdieBall is known for. It stays flat, sets up in seconds and lets you get meaningful reps in whether you have five minutes or an hour. We all want to be better putters so this mat was an easy pick.

The Vortex Anarch Image Stabilized Laser Rangefinder made the MGS staff wish list because stabilization changes everything. The Anarch keeps the view steady when you are trying to lock onto a distant pin and the optics stay clear in a variety of conditions. Yardages come back quickly and consistently which gives you confidence in the number instead of second-guessing it. The build quality is solid and the warranty support is strong (this thing has a lifetime warranty, man). This is a more-than-solid rangefinder and our team don’t want no junk.

The Bettinardi Antidote SB3 earned a spot on the MGS staff wish list because of how stable it feels through the stroke. The center shaft sits directly through the putter’s center of gravity which helps the face stay square from takeaway to impact. The milled 303 stainless body gives it a soft, controlled feel and the head shape keeps things steady on slight mishits. Bettinardi also offers this model for lefties which is something our southpaw staffers appreciated. If you want a putter that rewards a simple, repeatable motion, the SB3 is an easy one to put on your radar.

The GolfForever Fitness Training System was a popular choice among MGS staffers because a lot of us care about fitness and it makes practice easy. The weighted bar and bands give you a simple way to work on rotation and tempo and it does a good job of helping you feel a more connected swing. It sets up fast, travels well and fits into whatever training space you have at home. A few minutes a day goes a long way with this thing.

This one made the list for an obvious reason: it’s great. The Garmin Approach R50 delivers solid data in an easy-to-digest and teachable way. It tracks ball speed, club speed, smash factor, carry and total distance, giving you useful shot feedback whether you’re at the range or using a mat at home. It’s lightweight, easy to set up and doesn’t require a full simulator bay. This is perfect for those of us looking to sharpen accuracy or dial in distances without the balloon of an investment of a full-scale simulator.

There’s just something about Christmas and the classics that go so hand-in-hand. A Christmas Carol, It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street— you get the idea. I say that to point out that the Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor is a classic for a reason. It can give you accurate metrics like ball speed, carry, smash factor and distance right from your phone.

Who wouldn’t want this? The Uneekor EYE XO2 is a literal dream indoor setup. It uses high-speed cameras to record precise club and ball metrics, giving you reliable feedback indoors. The SIG12 enclosure provides a generous, sturdy frame and impact screen designed to handle full swings. We can just picture ourselves on snowy nights going into our full-scale sim and having a great time. This setup makes indoor practice/play feel like the real thing.

Srixon ZXi7 - MyGolfSpy's best player's iron of 2025

The Srixon ZXi7 irons earned a spot on the MGS staff wish list because they were our Most Wanted Player’s Distance Irons of 2025. The ZXi7 produces strong ball speed, reliable distance and a level of forgiveness that makes them easy to trust. The forged construction produces a satisfying and solid feel at impact and with great shaping ability, these irons just have the “it” factor. It’s tough to imagine any experienced player who wouldn’t want these.

The forelinks Cabsoft is a glove that a lot of our staffers already game but we want another one in our stockings because it’s just that good. It feels good the moment you put it on. It’s the kind of glove you forget about in the best way: it just works.

The PAYNTR Sport Classic LE is MyGolfSpy’s Brittany Olizarowicz’s most-wanted item this holiday season and I see why. Not only does this shoe look great; it flat-out performs. I’ve never been one for huge conglomerates so I love to see smaller, lesser-known brands getting some real love because they’re producing great gear. She likes this shoe for its profile, comfort and steady traction through the swing. These are made of premium full-grain leather, are waterproof, and the ORTHOLITE footbed, designed to compress less than five percent, ensures that cushioning, fit and comfort never change.

In-house, we all know that Bennett Green has good taste. For those of you who don’t know, let her most-wanted pick be a lesson. The lululemon Always Effortless Jacket is too cool. Full stop. I’m not at all ashamed to say that if I were a woman, I’d absolutely own this. This jacket has some serious versatility, too. This can easily go from the gym to the course to a night out— you name it. Style should be 100 percent effortless so this jacket’s name is apropos.

Wherever he goes, just know that Connor Lindeman’s shoe game is bringing serious heat. His most-wanted item this season is the Alma Mater BETA LONGWING and my only reaction is what the kids say: SHEEEEESH. These are certifiably clean. Alma Mater calls them a “masterclass in craftsmanship and performance” and it’s difficult to argue. While they’re not quite my style (they’re almost there), I love the look of these and can absolutely see these making their way into my wardrobe.

Yes, you read the name wrong at first. However, the name makes sense (more to come). Parnography is staff member Andrew Zanzig’s pick this Christmas. We don’t always take the time to appreciate what a beautiful game golf is and that’s where Parnography steps in. As a brand, they sit at the intersection of golf and art. As a result, their prints are some of the most gorgeous we’ve come across and evoke some serious feelings. With prints from iconic courses like North Berwick and Bandon Dunes, it’s tough to imagine your living space without one of these immediately making it that much better.

Straight from the top man himself, Adam Beach, this is a really cool way to commemorate a memorable bucket-list or destination course. In a world where most things are mass-produced, these are handcrafted by local artisans with more than 20 years of woodworking experience and each piece has the ability to transport you right back to the course. On occasion, we all want to go back in time at some point and I think Rod Serling said it best in his epilogue to the classic Twilight Zone episode “Walking Distance.”

“Like all men, perhaps there’ll be an occasion, maybe a summer night sometime, when he’ll look up from what he’s doing and hear the voices and the laughter of the people and the places of his past. And perhaps across his mind there’ll flit a little errant wish that a man might not have to become old. And he’ll smile then, too, because he’ll know that it is just an errant wish, some wisp of memory, not too important really, some laughing ghosts that would cross a man’s mind.”

A custom art golf map is an item that allows us to go there from time to time.

The moment you’ve been waiting for! My most-wanted item this Christmas! All kidding aside, that’s the Heathlander Golf Shoe. When I see something that I know is “me,” I know it right away and that’s just how it is with Heathlander. The problem is I want every colorway.

Dear Santa, I promise I’ve been very good this year.
