BN3TH recently sent a couple of pair of their athletic ankle socks for review, and after using them on several rounds, I find I like them. As a fantatical walking golfer, I am very particular about my footwear. These make the cut.

The best thing I can say about these socks — and I mean this in all seriousness — is that they stay put. I consider that high praise, for I usually find that low cut socks slide down the heel when I’m out walking a round of golf. At best, with most low cut socks, I find I need to constantly pull them up. At worse, they cause blisters.

For that reason, I usually wear socks that come up just over the ankle.

The BN3TH socks have a padded ankle tab that manages to stay above the shoe’s heel notch. There’s also a light elastic weave on the instep that helps keep them secure.

Under the heel, and around the toes,tThe BN3TH socks feature a very light padding. The rest of the sock is a breathable mesh weave. On a couple of warm days (ok. warm for Michigan), I’ve found them to be very comfortable.

The sock’s material is 97% Nylon and 3% Spandex. While I have long preferred lightweight wool socks (yes, even in the summer – they breathe), the material in the BN3TH socks feels nice and is very comfortable.

BN3TH says that the socks have Ionic+® anti-odor tech. This fabric treatment changes the pH of the threads, making them inhospitable to odor causing bacteria.

BN3TH is perhaps better known for its underwear. They did send a pair. I’ll have more on that in a while.

For now, I am happy to recommend to you their pro sport socks.
