Teachers’ Comments: Well made, and true to the Adobe .ai files I sent for manufacturing.

I recently receved a set of patches and pins from custom promotional gift maker GS-JJ.

The company makes a huge variety of custom products, including lapel pins, challenge coins, medals, hatclips, lanyards, metal business cards, poker chips, ornaments and more.

GS-JJ sent me two types of products: embroidered patches and custom pins. Both were printed from the Adobe .ai file that I sent, and I think the colors and image reproductions are excellent. The photo above really doesn’t do them justice.

The patch is well made, with good thread density and nice colors. My eldest son is a patch collector; he noted that the backing is well done and the threads are sealed nicely. In particular, he noted that the threads on the white border were sealed off nicely. He was impressed with the overall production.

Of note is that they were able to make a stitch down the shaft of the club as a highlight. Very well done.

Mrs. GolfBlogger sewed one of these onto a canvas briefcase that I have. It looks really good there. The backing is technically “iron-on” but Mrs. GolfBlogger thought that sewing it on would be the proper solution.

The pins are outstanding. The colors are glossy and really pop. As with the patches, I’m impressed with the image reproduction.

Physically, the pins are solid and hefty. The enamel looks like it will wear very well.

On the back, the posts are secure and should hold up to a lot of abuse. They are sharp enough and solid enough to go through my messenger bag’s strap. My only concern is that the soft rubber covers may come off. I would have preferred the metal clamp style.

Nonetheless, I like them a lot.

GS-JJ sent a bunch of other random products as well, including badge straps, golf ball markers and stickers. All were well done.

I was impressed by the overall attention to detail from GS-JJ. I sent my Adobe .ai files; they sent back a link to their site for approval of the mock ups.
